Food Concepts In C-Stores
From sandwiches to pizza convenience stores are finding that food sales are helping boost their bottom line so far in 2017, according to a recent survey by NACS. The survey found that ⅗ C-stores reported higher profits in the first nine months of 2017 than the same time period the previous year, many citing more robust food programs and consumer confidence.
Made To Order Sandwiches On The Rise
Many chains are bringing made-to-order sandwiches to their customers, and the response has been great. NACS recently wrote about the topic noting the importance of meeting the needs of a wide variety of customers. Sandwiches do an excellent job of meeting those needs. Ready-made hot sandwiches, cold deli sandwiches, and fresh foods.
